Sam had his 1 yr checkup today with Dr. Lovell. He's perfect, of course!! He weighs 20lb 6oz (just barely enough to switch his seat around, but we are legal!) and is 30 1/4 inches long. He didn't really like to have the dr mess with him. He started to get pretty irritated with the ear checking, the listening to his chest, and the belly squeezing. He's never liked being messed with! He of course was not too happy about the shots either, but didn't cry for too long. They also pricked his finger to check his iron levels and he didn't even seem to notice, although he was not happy about my holding his finger still to stop the bleeding. Heaven forbid he have to sit still!!
Things that you are doing...still taking 2 naps a day, most days. You used to nap after you got home from Mothers Day Out, but you haven't been since we've been back from Christmas break. You do get your 2 naps on the days that you are home though. You really don't have much interest in table food so you are going through tons of jars of baby food. You are pulling up on everything and chattering away. You love music and love to dance to it. You are just so funny when you dance. We love watching you! You enjoy playing with Emmy and throwing toys all over the house. You are just so much fun these days!
